Alexandra Goudis holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Patras (2025). Her doctoral research focused on business networks and innovation dynamics in peripheral regions, with particular emphasis on agri-food products with Geographical Indication (GI).
She completed her undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Economics at the University of Essex, earning a BA and an MSc in Financial and Business Economics. She has worked as a researcher at the Foundation for Economic and Industrial Research (IOBE) and at the University of Patras, where she contributed to research projects and policy-oriented initiatives related to entrepreneurship, regional development, innovation, and economic restructuring.
In parallel with her academic and research activities, she has been actively involved in TEDxPatras for several years, supporting event co-organisation and speaker curation, and is the author of two guidebooks of Patras.
Since 2025, she has been a member of the Teaching Staff (E.D.I.P.) at the Department of Business Administration at the University of Patras. Her research interests include agricultural and agri-food policy, agri-food systems, regional economic development, business networks and collaboration analysis, consumer behaviour, innovation processes, and technological adaptation in peripheral economies.
