Kaisari Maria

Maria Kaisari holds a PhD in Mathematics Education (2013) and an MSc in Theoretical Mathematics from the University of Patras. Since 2019, she has served as a member of the Laboratory Teaching Staff at the Department of Business Administration, University of Patras, specializing in "Research and Evaluation in Education". Her current postdoctoral research (2025–) focuses on Educational Sciences. With over 20 years of teaching experience across secondary and tertiary education, she has taught courses ranging from Calculus and Statistics to Research Methodology and Mathematics Didactics. She has participated in significant European research projects (ATS2020, MENTEP) and has published her work in prestigious international journals such as Economic Modelling and Educational Studies in Mathematics. She is also the co-author of university textbooks on Mathematics for Economics.
