Barbara Myloni is a Associate Professor of Management in the Department of Business Administration at the University of Patras. She is a graduate of the Business Administration Department at Athens University of Economics and Business, with postgraduate studies in International Management and Doctorate in Human Resource Management from Bradford University School of Management, UK. In her doctoral dissertation she examined the factors influencing the transfer of HRM practices in multinational enterprises and focused on the effect of national and organizational cultures, the institutional environment as well as organizational characteristics such as strategy and controlling relationships between parent company and subsidiary. Ms Myloni has taught undergraduate and postgraduate level courses such as Business Administration, Business Policy and Strategy, Organizational Behavior, Human Resources Management, Organizational Change etc. She has collaborated with universities abroad representing Greece in international surveys, as well as with the Department of Investment, Technology and Business Development of the United Nations (UNCTAD) in matters concerning Multinational Enterprises and Foreign Direct Investment. Her work has been published in international scientific journals and has been presented at international conferences. Her research interests include:
